How To Remove Files from Google Docs?
Depending on the device you are using to access Google Docs, the steps will vary accordingly.
1. On Android Device
Step 1: Open Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets on your Android device.
Step 2: Tap on the three buttons for “More” next to the file for deletion.
Step 3: Tap on “Remove.”
After you remove the file, it will be automatically deleted from other apps.
2. On Computer
Step 1: Launch Google Docs, Slides, or Sheet on your computer.
Step 2: Click on “More” next to the file that you are looking to delete.
Step 3: Click on “Remove.”
On your computer, the file will be in the Drive’s Trash section.

How to Delete Multiple Documents on Google Docs?
Google Docs does allow you to delete multiple files at once. You will have to begin by making the list of closed files. For this, you will have to follow these steps.
Step 1: Hold your keyboard’s Ctrl key and left-click on the files that you want to delete.
Step 2: Continue until all the files have been selected.
Step 3: Use the Shift key for the first file and last file chain selection.
Step 4: After the files have been selected, right-click on them.
Step 5: Select the option “Remove“. You can also select the icon Trash Can located at the top right.
All the removed files will be in the folder trash. By emptying Trash, you will be able to permanently delete any file on Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets apps. When you delete the file, the shared file will be lost. However, you can still give access to others to view the file by giving ownership.
Recover A File From Trash
The steps for recovering a file from the trash are the same for both Android as well as iOS devices.
Step 1: Open Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides.

How To Remove Access From A Single File?
Step 1: Launch Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets.
Step 2: Select the file or folder.
Step 3: Click on the icon “Share” which is at the top.
Step 4: Hit on the option “Advanced” located at the bottom right.
Step 5: Click the mark “X” for the person you want to remove access.
Step 6: Hit on “Save changes.”
How To Remove Access from Multiple Files?
Step 1: Open Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets.
Step 2: Go for a global search.
Step 3: Highlight the first file and select all the files. You can do it by holding the Shift key and moving the arrow key down to highlight the documents.
